Placer County MHSA Services
Since the passage of the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) in 2004, Placer County Systems of Care have diligently worked to integrate the transformational principles of the MHSA throughout the public behavioral health system. This represents an ongoing vision of wellness, recovery, and resilience, with a focus on client and family-driven services. The MHSA continues to facilitate an increase in community collaboration and partnerships in Placer County, expand services to unserved populations, and improve access to services.

Each Mind Matters
Each Mind Matters is California’s Mental Health Movement. They are millions of individuals and thousands of organizations working to advance mental health. The mental health movement certainly didn’t start with them, but Each Mind Matters was created to unite all of us who share a vision of improved mental health and equality.
Know The Signs
Know the Signs is a statewide suicide prevention social marketing campaign built on three key messages: Know the signs. Find the words. Reach out. This campaign is intended to educate Californians how to recognize the warning signs of suicide, how to find the words to have a direct conversation with someone in crisis and where to find professional help and resources. Know the Signs is part of Each Mind Matters: California’s Mental Health Movement.
