Implicit Bias

Implicit Bias training offers a practical, evidence-based approach to engage employees to have intentional and reflective conversations addressing racism, biases and microaggressions in the workplace and in the delivery of healthcare services. The workshops are interactive with goals and objectives utilizing tools, resources and practical application interfacing that address DEIB issues in the workplace and in the delivery of healthcare services. (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging)DEI culturally competency efforts have added another concept to its training acronym, DEIB, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. “Belonging centers around the employee experience of feeling accepted in the workplace. Every team member should feel that their perspective is valued and adds something useful.”


Learning Objectives Participants will be able to:
•Establish a common language with which to discuss, dialogue or share about implicit bias.

•Acquire tools/resources to utilize with which to address implicit bias.

•Establish a comfort level to address implicit bias.

•Share the learnings in personal environments also.


This is a remote training through Zoom with online registration available through Placer Learns and made available through ABC Equity Consultants & County of Placer MHSA Workforce Education Training Program



This training is FREE and open to the public. BBS CEUs will be available for this session.
