Nurtured Heart Approach: Nuts and Bolts for Providers: Deeper Dive

Description: This full-day course is designed for social workers and those in similar fields interested in notching up their use of the Nurtured Heart Approach® (NHA). Participants will learn how to implement a higher level of the 3 Stands of NHA in a social work setting and will discover how to apply NHA to themselves. Participants will explore use of “Inner” NHA in order to improve overall client/social work climate. The course will include engaging activities designed to increase understanding and to serve as a model for activity use in a family/social work setting.
  1. Participants will be able to communicate three aspects of the NHA with next level principles applicable to children and adults;
  2. Participants will be able to apply the three stands of the NHA in their work and personal environment;
  3. Participants will be able to employ three concrete NHA methods in their work and personal environment with fidelity at a higher level:
  4. Participants will be able to explore use of two “Inner” NHA in order to improve overall client and social work climate
