Disability Etiquette provided by PIRS

This training will be presented by Alexa Guerrero with Placer Independent Resources Services (PIRS),

The Disability Etiquette training course will be a one-hour presentation to help participants in the community develop the fundamentals of disability etiquette, providing a comprehensive overview of different types of disabilities and detail how etiquette may vary depending on the specific type of disability.

Learning Objectives
• Understand the significance of adhering to disability etiquette
• Recognize how disability etiquette may differ based on type of disability
• Gain a broader understanding of various disabilities

Education Goals
• Develop an open way of thinking when it comes to all kinds of disabilities

This will be an in person training located at the Auburn Health and Human Services building.
