
Cultural Broker Dialogue Series (Session 6 of 6)
This training consists of six (6) two-hour sessions with 3 remote and 3 in-person sessions on Alternate Wednesdays January 17th—March 27, 2024; 12:30pm-2:30pm.

- In Person Sessions on 1/31, 2/28, & 3/27 at Placer County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), 2929 Richardson Dr., Auburn 95603
Cultural Broker Dialogue Series will bring together Placer County Systems of Care staff and community partners to expand cultural awareness, facilitate rich cross-cultural dialogue, and build skills to effectively engage Cultural Brokers to improve outcomes for diverse communities. This 6-week dialogue series will include group teachings, experiential exercises, and group discussions. Participants will be asked to explore their relationship to cultural awareness, engage in exploratory conversations around culture, and participate in discussions to identify strategies for improving health equity in Placer Health and Human Services.
This training is intended for Placer County’s Systems of Care (SOC) staff and a broad range of community partners such as therapists, social workers, case managers, teachers, law enforcement, and other line professionals working in diverse communities.
