Clinical Supervision 9-hour Supplement for New Supervisors
This 9-hour remote training will be held over three half-days September 26-28, 2023.
This course is for clinical professionals licensed with the BBS who are or intend to be clinical supervisors. Licensure must be held for a minimum of 2 years in addition to requirements outlined in §1821, §1833.1 and §1870 of the BBS Statutes and Regulations. In order to provide supervision to all BBS disciplines, the prospective supervisor must complete an initial 15-hour training and 6-hour training every renewal period thereafter.
This 9-hour supplement is designed to accompany a 6-hour recorded webinar through Ben Caldwell Labs to complete the 15-hour requirement for new clinical supervisors. These trainings prepare licensed professionals to provide individual and group supervision to associates and trainees collecting hours for licensure as an LPCC, LMFT, and/or LCSW.
- New supervisors will need to complete the Clinical Supervision Introductory 6-hour Webinar to complete the 15-hours required for new supervisors
- Continuing supervisors can request the Advanced Clinical Supervision 6-hour Webinar for their 2-year renewal requirement.

This training is FREE and open to the public. Registration is available in Placer Learns. BBS CE credit is available.
