
Alzheimer’s Recognition and Communication
This one-hour training will identify the 10 warning signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s, how to identify common behaviors, how to differentiate between Alzheimer’s and typical age-related changes, suggest when to reach out for help, and best practices on how to communicate with individuals affected by Alzheimer’s and/or dementia onset.
The Alzheimer’s Recognition and Communication training is intended for anyone who works with or cares for an aged client or family member. It is valuable information for social workers, case managers, law enforcement, caretakers, and family and friends of persons affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Q&A will be available as time allows.
This training is FREE and open to the public. Registration is available in Placer Learns. BBS CE credit is available.
