
Secondary Trauma Relief: Level-up Cohort
The Secondary Trauma Relief: Level-up Cohort is for those who want to increase their understanding of Secondary Trauma. This training will offer strategies to prevent burnout from Secondary Trauma and will provide participants with an opportunity to actively participate in seeking support in treatment planning.
This training is FREE and open to the public. BBS CEUs will be provided (registration in Placer Learns is required to receive CE credit for these trainings).
This training is intended for anyone interested in understanding the short and long-term effects of emotional and psychological trauma and how to effectively respond and recover from trauma. It is recommended training for Social Workers, Educators, Counselors and Psychotherapists, First Responders, Foster and Adoptive Parents, Leadership staff, Call Centers, and Leaders of workplace environments where stress impacts performance, moral and employee well-being.
One of the two introductory cohorts is required to participate in this Level-up Cohort
- Cohort 1 – June 8, 2023, 9:00am-12:00pm
- Cohort 2 – June 8, 2023, 1:00pm-4:00pm
This is a remote training with Zoom registration available through the Alvarado Group; however, registration in Placer Learns is required to receive CE credit for these trainings.
