Eight week series: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, July 28th thru November 10th
Placer County’s Systems of Care (SOC) Cultural Broker Dialogue Series will bring together SOC staff and community partners to expand cultural awareness, facilitate rich cross-cultural dialogue, and build skills to effectively engage Cultural Brokers to improve outcomes for diverse communities. This 8-week dialogue series will include group teachings, experiential exercises, and group discussions. Participants will be asked to explore their relationship to cultural awareness, engage in exploratory conversations around culture, and participate in discussions to identify strategies for improving health equity in Placer Health and Human Services.
